The m600 developer's kit from Luxtron allows R&D technologists and OEM engineers to test the technical feasibility and ease of integration of the company's Fluoroptic thermometry. Among other applications, the m600 can be used to control electrostatic chucks in semiconductor wafer tools. The m600 has a measurement range of 100° to 330°C and uses probes that offer electromagnetic interference immunity and stability, avoiding the problems associated with conventional sensors. The kit includes a four-channel m600 OEM module with analog output capability mounted in a shielded enclosure, TrueTemp PC-interface software, a general-purpose STM-type probe, an RS-232 cable, a universal power supply, manuals, and a quick-start guide. The nonmetallic, electrically nonconductive probe provided with the kit is a general-purpose immersion device with a measurement range of 0° to 250°C. The company offers probes tailored to meet customer needs. Custom probes are available for a wide range of temperatures, vacuum specifications, and process chambers. Information: www.luxtron.com.

Single Iteration, the consulting services division of Watlow, offers a Web site to address thermal problems. The firm uses advanced computational tools and a disciplined project-based approach to direct projects through the development cycle. The site offers information on the firm's program management, its phased approach to managing projects, and its affiliations and partnerships. The site also includes a portfolio section providing case histories highlighting the types of projects handled by the firm. Information: www.singleiteration.com.

A repair guide from Magnatex Pumps, which is available on CD-ROM, concentrates on the company's metallic and Texel fluoropolymer-lined magnetically driven, sealless pumps. The guide provides two full-color, high-quality video segments demonstrating the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of the MP-series sealless pump and the Texel MTA sealless pump. With their sealless design, the pumps perform better than mechanically sealed centrifugal pumps. The elimination of mechanical seals prevents potential emissions problems. The pumps' high-strength, rare-earth magnetic drives supply no-slip power, maximizing operating efficiency and prolonging pump life. Information: www.magnatexpumps.com.

Scott Specialty Gases has published an international edition of its Specialty Gas and Equipment Reference Guide. The free, 320-page guide contains technical and safety information as well as information on pure and mixed specialty gases and liquids for all types of scientific and industrial applications. The new edition features the company's expanded line of gases for industrial and other applications. It also highlights regulators, manifolds, and other products, which are available for on-line purchase. Information: www.scottgas.com.
